Estates Officer required to assist in managing an organisations maintenance and minor works programme
Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by an organisation in Belfast, to recruit an Estates Officer on an ongoing temporary contract basis. You will work as part of the client's in-house team which oversees all aspects of response and planned maintenance programmes, capital works and statutory compliance.
Your new role
Your key duties will include:
Help with planned and reactive maintenance works programme, working closely with CPD on their PPM/RM framework for some contracts and preparing tenders for others;
Review maintenance compliance and ensure a schedule and necessary testing regime is put together for all compliance testing and any resulting rectification works;
Organise maintenance works to be carried out either through CPD's Help Desk or through mini procurement exercises;
Assist with capital projects planning and delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you should possess a third level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject with 2 years' experience of overseeing all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance as outlined above.
