One of Northern Ireland's premier construction contractors are now recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor due to ongoing growth. Leading some of the largest and most prestigious projects across the UK and Ireland, this contractor has been involved in the construction of some of the most high profile civils projects in the UK. Operating in various civil sectors including industrial, transport infrastructure, marine and rivers and energy, they have produced projects up to £120m in value. Due to continuing expansion, and the winning of several new civils projects, this contractor is now recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to assist their prestigious Civil Engineering Team on a project in Belfast.

Your new role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will be pivotal in providing quantity surveying support services to the Civil Engineering Team. You will be responsible for day to day QS duties on a substantial civils project, including; subcontract procurement, administration, cash flow, risk and opportunity management, and cost control. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cost management of large scale projects.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Quantity Surveyor with this leading contractor you will be degree educated in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years of experience. You will demonstrate previous design & build experience, preferably with NEC forms of contract. You will be self-sufficient with a proven track record of running similar size projects by yourself. As well as this you will demonstrate strong measurement skills, both on-site and from drawings.
