Hays are working in partnership with a renowned Global Construction Consultancy in their search for an Associate Cost Manager to join the Belfast team. This company private themselves on providing services across Cost Management, Project Management, Building Surveying & Design throughout the world. The Belfast team seem have a strong order book of projects across public and provide sectors including leisure, government, office, education & healthcare. Due to continuous growth within the local market, they now seek an experience Cost Manager to join their growing team
Your new role
This role will task you to oversee the Cost Management on a wide variety of schemes across NI. This role will require you to help and motivate a team of 7 Cost Managers and work with the Directors in raising the company's profile. This is an outward facing role where you will be responsible for building relations and partaking in Business development, actively contributing to work-winning activities in the local market. If you are an ambition individual this role provides you with the opportunity to progress within the business to Director level.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a minimum of 7 years' experience working within a construction consultancy / client side (PQS) environment. It is essential that you have a strong professional and client network within Northern Ireland with a Proven track record in a consulting environment providing CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution. You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction related degree.
