Asset Management Development Manager required by Translink on a permanent basis

We are recruiting on behalf of Translink for an Asset Management Development Manager on a permanent basis. You will lead the formalisation of Translink's infrastructure and property Asset Management Systems, ensuring the arrangements are compatible with relevant best practice.
Your new role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Systems & Performance Manager, your duties will include the following:
Effectively lead the formalisation, development, and convergence of infrastructure and property Asset Management Systems;
Work closely with the Engineering & Sponsorship Directorate to support the development of the Asset Management policy, strategy and objectives for Infrastructure and Property Assets;
Lead the development and delivery of Asset Management Plans;
Review current asset management practices - identify and implement changes to establish a formal asset management system;
Measure performance against the Asset Management plans to provide assurance of implementation, analysing and understanding Asset Management System performance issues and making recommendations to rectify and improve;
Lead the development of Asset Information Specifications and an Asset Data Library, developing and maintaining an Infrastructure Asset Register to hold key asset data, including asset condition measures to support analysis and decision making.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must satisfy the following essential criteria:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in industry, including at least 1 year in an asset management environment; Proven experience of an asset management system and/or assurance practices;
Experience in stakeholder engagement and communications, including at Senior/Strategic level;
Minimum of a degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate asset management, engineering or technical discipline; Experience of interpreting technical data and translating into clear communications information to influence business drivers;
Experience of ISO55000, GFMAM or other relevant Asset Management System framework or standard(s); Knowledge of the asset data systems, asset management models and asset management processes.
