Your new role
As a floating support worker you will provide support and direct interventions to service users with a history offending behaviour. The focus of the work is to support the service user to access and maintain accommodation. It seeks to help clients develop positive lifestyles and sustain themselves in the community.
You will manage a caseload working with ex-offenders who are assessed as medium to high risk of reoffending. You will deliver high quality interventions which will support them to reintegrate into the community, reduce the risk of reoffending and enable them to sustain their tenancies. You will be based in Belfast office working 40 hours a week Mon - Fri 9-5. This is a full time role until 31st March 2020 with the possible view of extension.
What you'll need to succeed
- A professional qualification in Social Work
- Hold or be working towards the Social Work Post-qualifying Award registration
- 1 Years experience working with similar service user group (medium to high risk of reoffending / complex needs)
- NISCC registration
- Full UK driving license
- IT competent

Salary will depend on skills and experience but will equates to an hourly rate between ~£11.74 - 14.99 per hour, you will be paid on a weekly basis and will work 40 hours per week 9 - 5 Mon - Friday.
