This is a permanent position - both full time and part time positions available.
As a result of Hughes Insurance continued success and growth we are recruiting for Insurance Service Advisors to expand their team.
Working from home as part of a virtual call centre, as a Customer Service Advisor you will meet the specific needs of existing customers through the servicing of insurance products, whilst providing excellent customer service. You will be an instrumental part of the team with targets including customer service satisfaction, compliance and quality levels in relation to insurance and FCA regulations.

We are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 9am to 1pm
Shifts are varied, across a working week of up to 35 hours, primarily working remotely from home with some office based duties as and when required. We have both full and part time positions available.
- Handling inbound and outbound calls for existing customers
- Completing transactions - mid-term changes, mid-term adjustments, and other adhoc queries
- Meeting and exceeding individual and team targets
- Advising, recommending, selling and servicing appropriate insurance products to meet customer needs
- Complying with all insurance and FCA regulatory guidelines and underwriting rules
- Recording and maintaining customer records in accordance with company procedures
- Managing all aspects of the customer relationship
- Providing a high quality service at all times
- Continuous development of knowledge of the product range
- Actively dealing personally with a large volume of calls in order to assist the team in achieving service levels of excellence
- Promoting and selling GAP insurance
- Liaising with underwriters and other partners to assist customer needs
- Carry out other duties as required by company
You have a passion for working with people, and are customer focused
You have strong influencing and negotiation skills
You're flexible, adaptable and a team player but can work independently with minimal supervision.
You are highly motivated and have a passion for doing what's right with the determination to follow through
You are computer literate with experience in Microsoft applications, well organised in your approach to completing daily activities and administrative tasks
Minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent qualification
At least 2 years' Personal Lines or Commercial insurance experience, ideally with motor products.
You communicate clearly and transparently, with telephony experience
Two years recent experience using Open GI software or equivalent platforms
Competitive Salary with OTE of £20,000 once fully trained.
Salary and OTE may be higher dependent on your level of experience.

The customer service roles are part of our annual bonus scheme, bonus is paid based on company and personal performance.
Hughes provide all IT equipment with an equipment purchase scheme in place for setting up a home office, and pay a monthly working from home allowance of £48 per month to cover any expenses eg broadband costs
Part time roles :16 hours+, shifts for example 4 hour shifts working 10-2, 11-3 or 4-8 , Saturday mornings 9-1 (on a rota basis)
