MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a DP Costing Accountant for a Public Sector organisation based in Belfast. This is an initial 4-month contract.

Duties are to include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of annual accounts and liaising with auditors.
• Implementation of financial systems
• Providing guidance on budgeting
• Establishing effective working relationships with all staff and external organisations
• Managing staff to work to tight deadlines

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant from a recognised CCAB body
• 2 years PQE, gained in the last 5 years to include experience in Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and/or IFRS, Management of accounting systems and managing a team.
