McKinty Associates are working with a successful top tier Belfast based practice as they have a current need for an Accounting Technician to join their Forensics team given their increased workload and expansion plans. This multi-site Practice boasts an impressive client list and is held in high regard for their level of customer service. This firm is very well established and are respected in the market and they now require additional experienced resource to join their expanding Belfast office.
We are seeking applications from qualified Accounts Technicians with experience of working in a busy Accounts office environment. This firm is committed to staff development and will offer a professional but friendly environment with a good work life balance.
This is a new key support role within the Forensic Accounting department where you will be responsible to and reporting directly to the Senior Management with responsibility for civil litigation and personal injury cases, you will also at times report directly to others within the department including Partners.
This is a mixed role offering a challenging and varied work load. The successful candidate will be expected to have a sound knowledge of core accounting concepts and an enquiring mind in order to enable them to be in a position to assist in the preparation of expert reports. The successful candidate will also be expected to have excellent organisational skills to assist in the smooth running of the department to ensure that deadlines are met.
The candidate will be ATI/AAT qualified or equivalent, with 2+ years post qualified experience, have good attention to detail and an ability to manage own workload, strong excel skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Salary will be competitive and will depend on experience. An attractive package will be available for the right individual.
