Hays Senior Accountancy and Finance are partnering with a premium employer who are recruiting a Senior Accountant to join their offices in Belfast on a permanent basis. This is a varied role that will give you numerous responsibilities that will help develop and enhance your skill set.
Your new role
Your new role will include, but will not be limited to, managing the production of the statutory and management accounts which should include a detailed analysis and overseeing and managing the required audit processes. Furthermore, you will manage and develop an effective financial reporting system and implement financial policies, controls and procedures throughout the department. You will also have the opportunity to manage and develop team members within the finance department.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need to hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification and a minimum 2:1 degree classification. You should also have experience working in a similar finance based environment where you have assisted in the preparation of both management and statutory accounts. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have strong communication and IT skills.
