Your new role
You will be involved primarily in the financial management of large, complex engagements. You'll be involved with a team providing quality risk management and project management support in a role with a field of vision shared by few others; participating in everything from behind the scenes details to the big picture. You'll work alongside consultants from the conception to delivery, designed to help companies improve. On your journey you'll make an impact on projects, develop knowledge, and gain a network you can consult with along your career journey.
You'll be responsible for: working with the engagement management team, developing the project budget and regularly tracking actual fees and expenses against management reports. Monitoring the time and expense reporting, as well as generating client invoices for project-related fees and expenses. This also includes, tracking and managing accounts receivable, managing revenues for internationally participating offices and performing financial analysis, preparing financial management reports, which includes forecasts to complete.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be part qualified with ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with an ability to work in a pressured environment with demanding individuals; ability to multitask is crucial. Strong excel skills will be essential. Some things that will help you would be: experience with an accounting system (like SAP), excellent written & verbal communication skills, willingness to travel, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with quantitative aptitude.
