Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for an immediate payroll officer for a city centre based organisation on a temporary to permanent basis. Competitive hourly rate on offer.
Your new role
The payroll officer is responsible for the end to end running of weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time. The post holder will ensure effective operations of payroll across the organisation.
You will be responsible for the following :
Responsible for the end to end running of both monthly and weekly payroll for the Group. This includes payroll in both the UK and ROI jurisdictions.
Ensuring that the payroll is administered in accordance with statutory legislation and tax compliance.
Ensuring accurate calculations of sick pay, parental leave, holiday pay, overtime in accordance with company policy.
Ensuring all payments to staff, HMRC, pension providers etc. are made accurately and on-time.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C or above to include English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
18 Months working within a payroll environment.
