Your new company
We are currently working on behalf of a FMCG organisation based in Belfast to recruit a Finance Assistant on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 4-6 weeks.
Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting the existing team as and when required whilst receiving ongoing support and development. The main duties will include
- Producing invoices
- Dealing with customer queries regarding invoices.
- Posting and matching incoming and outgoing cash against ledger on the various systems;
- Assisting with system generated reporting aspects of the department;
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered you will have previous finance experience with demonstrable experience of producing invoices and resolving customer issues. You will have first hand experience in using accountancy software package and be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
What you'll get in return
This role offers an immediate start on a temporary contract for an initial period of 4-6 weeks with the opportunity for further extension. The salary for the position is between £17,500-£18,000 per annum which will be paid weekly via Hays for the duration of the contract.
