Accounts Assistant, Part Time (2 Days per week). 6 months Temporary

I am currently working on behalf of a well-established company based in Belfast to recruit a Part-Time Accounts Assistant on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 6 months.
Your new role
Working within the existing team you will be responsible for a range of duties to include:
- Maintain and update cash book and cheque journal.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Post and allocate cash received into to the appropriate account
- Prepare daily lodgements.
- Balance cash and journal postings on a daily basis to the cash book.
- Perform monthly reconciliations for submission to appropriate finance team
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered you should possess a Minimum of 5 GCSE's grade C or above along with the ability to work on own initiative. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office in particular Excel have high level of attention to detail along with good communication skills. Previous experience using SAP along with experience of posting cash receipts and bank reconciliations would be desirable.

This role offers an immediate start on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 6 months. This role is ideally suited for individuals seeking a part time role, it will be 2 full days per week with the hours totalling 14.5. The role will initially commence on a remote working basis with a view to returning to the offices within the coming months.
