Your new company
We are working on behalf of a construction company based in the Greater Belfast area to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 6 months.
Your new role
Working within the existing team this will be a varied role with a range of duties to include:
- Responsibility for the Purchase Ledger, processing invoices and preparing supplier payments;
- Sub-Contractor payments
- CIS Returns
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered you should possess a minimum of two years experience within the accounts function with experience in an accounts payable role. Previous experience working within construction along with a working knowledge of CIS is desired.
What you'll get in return
This is an excellent opportunity with a Greater Belfast based construction firm on a long term temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent contract. The annual salary for the position will range between £20,000 - £24,000. The position will offer an early January start and will potentially commence on a remote basis with in-office training however this is subject to change depending on restrictions.
