Payroll Manager

Currently Liaising with one of NI's most established and promising companies based in the greater Belfast area. This organisation has seen huge growth, expansion and revenue surge over the last 18 months.

In your new role:

Team management:

• Manage and lead the payroll processing team to ensure the correct processing of all weekly and monthly payroll information.
• Set team objectives and targets and provide feedback and coaching on performance through regular 1-2-1's on an on-going basis.
• Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary current knowledge on HMRC matters.
• Lead the team by example by ensuring effective communication across the business.
• Ensure weekly and monthly payroll is processed accurately and on a timely basis.
• Maintain an effective relationship with the payroll outsourced payroll processing providers.

Payroll processes and delivery:

• Ensure weekly and monthly payroll is processed accurately and on a timely basis.
• Maintain an effective relationship with the outsourced payroll processing providers.

Payroll reporting and controls:

• Accurate reporting of payroll information across the business.
• Liaising with the business for the production of ah-hoc reports and business information for decision making.
• Ensure all control accounts are reconciled monthly and all payments are made on time to outside parties.

Ensure all compliance requirements are adhered to and achieved. What do we look for?

• CIPP qualification (desirable)
• 3+ years experience managing a small team
• Excel savvy
• Experience working in a high-volume environment
