In a time of heightened appreciation for the work of key and front-line workers, MCS Group are privileged to be able to support this prominent charity in their efforts to recruit a systems-focused Management Accountant.
What's the company like?
The charity plays a key role in the support of some of the most vulnerable in society. This is an organisation that makes a real difference in the lives of many and the organisation is comprised of a staff team who are all 100% committed to pursuing that shared purpose.
The values of the organisation are all people-centred and about making a real difference, which also pushes the charity to put innovation and creativity at the heart of what they do. You will be joining an organisation full of driven individuals passionately working hard to deliver for their service users.
Importantly, the charity has minimal reliance on fundraising activity and as a result can maintain a secure financial outlook even in the presence of challenges in the wider sector.
What does the job involve?
The role is a hybrid of management accounting and systems administration and in truth the final brief will be steered by the skills and capabilities of the successful applicant. Key areas of responsibility include:

- Working on the budgeting and forecasting process and supporting departments in sticking closely to these

What do I need to be considered?
The successful candidate needs to be a fully qualified member of a CCAB body and will need to have a strong grasp of financial systems and how to interact with them. A systems expert would be ideal, but if you aren't yet there and think it's an area you could grow into we still want to hear from you.
You'll need to be able to pull together a full set of management accounts and have experience in budgeting and forecasting processes. Finally, you'll need to be able to show that you are driven individual who can bring the same passion to the role that your colleagues demonstrate day in and day out.
